Who’s Killing My Summer Vacation?: Old Guys Murder Mystery #9

About

The treasure was perhaps a myth. The murder wasn’t.

Charlie and Ben are guests for a week of sun, fun, and golf in Charlevoix, Michigan.

They stay in one of the famous Mushroom houses—a house weirdly built with mostly boulders. Legend has it that a ghost resides in the house, and somewhere inside—hidden for decades—is a huge cash treasure from the Prohibition days.

All’s fine for a couple of days. Then a murder. Then, part of the secret treasure shows up. Then another part.

There’s a wild scramble to uncover the treasure, including a strange voyage to Beaver Island, two hours into Lake Michigan.

You could probably guess the ending in a thousand years, or you can get right to it now.

This is a quirky mystery novel with sharp twists, dry humor, zero cursing, and a hero who refuses to age quietly.

If you’re a fan of Richard Osman, Robert Thorogood, Janet Evanovich, Carl Hiaasen, or anyone who knows murder should come with a side of mischief—welcome to the club.

This is a fast read. Old guys like things fast.
